Word «humanism» means human-like, humane in the translation from Latin. Humane pedagogy consider worth of the human person and his right to develop his or her natural abilities as two most important factors.
The main principles of humane pedagogy:
- Faith in the abilities of the child and respect for their personhood.
- Discovery of their natural talents.
- Directing them to use their abilities in the name of kindness and justice.
Don’t forget to be grateful for the opportunity to raise a child that life has presented to you.
I am an amazing parent. I have a wonderful child who was given to me as a gift from God. They aren’t my property, but a cosmic essence entrusted to me. And they came to this world to fulfill what is destined for them, not to look after me when I become old.
All parents only want happiness for their children.
By “happiness” they mean financial well-being, success in the workplace, a happy marriage etc. But this definition of happiness is very constraining – it creates obstacles on the child’s life path. The main goal is to raise a kind and noble person. Will a kind and noble person fail to find their way without a large inheritance? Of course not, for they will have moral values. After all, life on Earth is just a pathway to eternal life.
One can only raise a kind and noble child by being their role model.
The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. So how can you be an example for your child? Give them a smile or a useful object, tell them some good news, do a good deed – these are all acts of kindness. Just developing these qualities will be kind and noble in and of itself.
A new special generation is growing now – so-called indigo children.
They came to this world to make it better. Life itself demands it. Dear parents, if any of you cuss or gossip; you should stop doing it for the children’s sake! It is necessary to rid your thoughts of anger, envy and judgmental attitudes towards others. In the East, they say “Willpower is the divine within a human”, so command all of your willpower to cleanse yourself of the unnecessary and harmful thoughts. Don’t pollute your mind with dirty thoughts and wishes. They form, live and die, leaving traces of dirty energy that get forever imprinted on our minds.
The parents’ function is to protect children from informational dirt.
What is shown on TV nowadays is an informational dumpster with nothing, but aggression, mean-spiritedness and violence that destroy a child’s psyche. Instead, read books that teach kindness to your children, take them to theatres and galleries. The child’s personality can’t be changed, but they can be raised properly. A child is a carrier of great treasures that we lock in a safe so tightly that they can never open it again.
Every child comes to this world with an innate sense of beauty.
Parents should support and develop this feeling. What does that mean? Surround them with beautiful speech, homely coziness and a warm atmosphere. Speech is a great gift from God, so don’t waste your time on running your mouth. Use words to pass on wisdom, teach your child to love, forgive, show empathy and develop spiritually, so that words help your child grow.
Talk to children as you talk to adults. They don’t like it when you baby them.
If your speech doesn’t show respect for the child, it’s better not to talk to them at all. Of course, this practice is difficult to apply right away. All starts with a thought, so mentally prepare yourself for a sincere respectful conversation, accepting your child the way they are, and with time, dear parents, you will succeed.
